Sunday Sep 20th 3pm – Shofar at the “Scenic Overlook by the Bridge” (corner of Main & Huguenot)


For Students

Sunday Sep 20th 5pm – Shofar at the Pond

These will be short Rosh Hashanah services. They will include Highlights from the Rosh Hashanah traditions including Avinu Malkeinu, Tashlich, Shofar, pre-packaged Apples & Honey and Honey Cake. Everything will be done in Hebrew and English, the whole thing will last around a half hour, it will be the perfect experience for every Jew no matter what previous knowledge you have or whether you’ve been to a service before or not.

For Community or Students. Everyone is welcome to join as long as you RSVP.

Chabad of New Paltz set up an open-air tent so that they can provide in-person, safe, socially distanced, services for Rosh Hashanah.

Sat. Sep. 19

  • 9:00am-2:00pm – Morning Service (Shacharit & Musaf)
  • 7:30pm-8:00pm – Evening Service (Ma’ariv)

Sun. Sep. 20

  • 9:00am-2:00pm – Morning Service (Shacharit & Musaf)

You can come for just the shofar blowing at Chabad if you wish. It will be approx. 12noon on Sunday

Students are also welcome to join traditional family dinners & lunches after every service.
