Meet the Plotkins
Seventeen years ago we moved to New Paltz, NY.
We opened a Chabad house to serve the SUNY New Paltz students and the general community. We came with two babies and a dream to create a home away from home for all the Jewish students. We are now a family of eleven, thank G-D, and hundreds of students come through our doors every semester for a Shabbat meal, a listening near, or a place to meet friends. There are also dozens of alumni who have become part of our extended family over the past 17 years.
Community
From Holiday Programs and Services, to Tot-Shabbats, and Adult Education classes. We are here to serve the local community in any they need. If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear.
Students
A Home Away From Home for every Jewish Student. There numerous classes, social events, and educational/experiential events every week, not least our Family Shabbat Dinner.
Visitors
If you’re just passing through, whether you’re touring, visiting family, or here on bussiness. We are here to help you. Feel free to call with any need.
